• Try to buy quality, long life goods

• If it's broken have it mended or, if competent and confident, mend it yourself
• Donate to, and buy from charities.
• Sell at car boot sales or ebay

RECYCLE

• If unable to reuse visit local recycling centre and put in appropriate skip
